Kaduna APC members unanimously endorse Tinubu as 2027 Presidential candidate

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Kaduna State have collectively endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s standard-bearer for the 2027 general elections.

Governor Uba Sani, who oversaw the exercise, praised party leaders, stakeholders, and members for their high turnout and orderly conduct throughout the endorsement process.

The governor described the event as a powerful show of unity, dedication, and trust in both the APC leadership and President Tinubu.

“Today’s sweeping endorsement across all 255 wards in Kaduna State clearly reflects the confidence our party members and the people have in the leadership of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The unity, discipline, and massive participation we witnessed underscore the APC’s strength and preparedness for the 2027 general elections. We remain dedicated to building on the achievements of the current administration and sustaining purposeful leadership for Nigeria’s progress and stability,” Governor Uba Sani stated.

He also called on party members to stay resolute, united, and focused on reinforcing the party’s structures and mobilisation efforts leading up to the 2027 polls.

The results are currently being compiled by designated local government collation officers, who will forward them to the Kaduna State Coordinator and Chief Collation Officer, Governor Uba Sani.

The final consolidated result is scheduled to be formally presented by Governor Uba Sani to the APC Presidential Primary Committee in Abuja during the official announcement on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Dele Fashomi, seasoned journalist and communication teacher, is a holder of Master of Arts degree in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan in 1992/93.

He has been part of many start-ups, such as The Republic (1987), The Comet (1999), The Anchor 2001 – 2002; Sun Newspapers (2003); Westerner newsmagazine (2005 – 2010) as Editor; National Life (2011) as Sunday Editor, and Newswatch Newspapers (2012- 2016) as Daily Editor.

Dele Fashomi is now the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Newstide247.com newspaper online, which he started in July 2015. He is also into biography writing, with many books in his trail, some of which he wrote alone and one he co- authored with his mentor, Mr Dare Babarinsa, entitled: Olabiyi Durojaiye – DARE TO BE DiFFERENT. He also guided and collaborated with Pa Olatunji Odusanya in writing his autobiography – AGAINST ALL ODDS. There are many other books in the works under his pen.
