Italian Serie A giants Juventus FC are lining up a move for Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface as a replacement for Serbian international goal poacher Dusan Vlahovic, who may most likely be sold to another club in the summer.

This was disclosed in a report published by Tuttosport which also revealed that Juventus are also considering the signing of Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee should they fail in their bid to sign Boniface.

The Nigerian international has significantly impacted Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen this season after joining from Belgian Pro League team Union St Gilloise last summer.

Boniface is back to full fitness after recovering from a groin injury that caused him to miss the 2023 AFCON. He has scored 16 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions this season.

His German team, which sits atop the German Bundesliga, is glad to have him back at this crucial juncture, as they have important matches in both the domestic Cup and the Europa League.

Leverkusen has celebrated the return of their top scorer to full fitness. The Nigerian international was pictured training with his teammates last week.
