The outgoing coach of Liverpool FC, Jurgen Klopp, has told those who care to listen that his fiery touchline spat with Mohammed Salah has been resolved.

Recall from last week’s 2-2 EPL tie with West Ham at the London Stadium how Salah and Klopp were both seen getting into a heated altercation on the touchline.

Even though the Liverpool manager is adamant that there isn’t a long-term issue, things haven’t exactly improved. Salah threatened to speak after the match, saying there would be “fire,” and there have been rumours that the Egyptian would leave Anfield.

Klopp has now moved to diffuse any persisting tension, as he insists there is no problem between him and Mohamed Salah after their touchline spat at West Ham last weekend.

According to him, the spat between him and Salah was nothing particularly out of the ordinary.

“It is completely resolved. It is no problem. If we didn’t know each other for that long, I don’t know how we would deal with it, but we know each other for that long and respect each other,” Klopp said.

“I think we have the right to deal with these things completely independent of any expectations from the outside. It is a non-story. In general, everyone is in the best possible place.

“If we win the games and score loads of goals, then the situation would probably not have been exactly like that because Mo would not have been on the bench in the first place. It all depends on each other,” he added.
