Mmesomma Ejikeme

JAMB: Mmesomma Ejikeme confessed to her fraud, by Reno Omokri

JAMB did not scapegoat Mmesomma Ejikeme. She confessed to her fraud. Even beyond that, she revealed the technique she used to perpetrate her crime. Mmesomma, who was 19 at the time, also begged JAMB for forgiveness.

Additionally, Governor Charles Soludo, the Governor of her state of residence, Anambra, set up an eight-member panel of distinguished persons, including PhD holders. That panel established that Mmesomma forged her result.

Following that, Miss Ejikeme and her father, together with their lawyer, went to the National Assembly, again admitted to the crime, and read an apology letter.

In light of the above, please kindly desist from any anti-Nigerian posturing and victim mentality navel-gazing. What happened with her in 2023 has no bearing or connection with the 2025 glitch that affected some students. JAMB is not targeting any ethnic group.

Moreover, because of its unique and sensitive nature, JAMB is an agency that abides by the Federal Character principle.

Nigerians from all geopolitical zones are involved in decision-making and policy implementation at JAMB. As a Nigerian citizen, you can trust JAMB.

Ignore the conspiracy theories. JAMB, like the Nigerian Army and the National Youth Service Corp, is one of those national institutions on which the very basis of Nigerian unity is founded.

Therefore, it should not come as a surprise to you that groups and individuals who are opposed to Nigeria’s continued corporate existence as one indivisible nation will seize the opportunity to tear at our national foundation in the hope that they can set off a domino effect that will lead to Nigeria’s dissolution.

As you tell them the truth about JAMB, they will try to provoke you by making unjustified and unwarranted accusations, statements and innuendos against you, your ethnicity, and the Nigerian government.

You must understand their tactics and refuse to take offence. Insults do not kill. Don’t be provoked. JAMB is making amends by organising resit examinations, and Nigeria will survive and thrive under President Tinubu.
