The early result coming in from the United States presidential election in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, has shown that the election would be a tight race.

Dixville Notch has a record for being the first to release its results given the town’s election procedure that allows midnight voting. The town with six registered voters turned in 3 votes each for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, indicating the election will be nect and neck between Trump and Harris.

The election result was announced at about 6.15 am Nigerian Time.

The 50% tie underscores the tight race that is between the major candidates.
