INEC declares APC’s Monday Okpebholo winner of Edo gov election

The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate in Saturday’s Edo State governorship election, Senator Monday Okpebholo,has been declared winner.
The Indepebdent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Senator Okpebholo after defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ighodale by a slim margin.
While Senator Okpebholo of the APC scored, 291,667 the PDP candidate, Esue Ighodalo scored 247,274.
Consequently, the INEC declared the APC candidate, Okpebholo, elected and returned.
