Osimhen
Galatasaray may keep Victor Osimhen for another season as club reject mega bid
Turkish giants Galatasaray have sent a defiant message to Europe’s elite: their prized striker Victor Osimhen is not for sale, no matter the price.
The Super Eagles forward has become one of the most sought-after marksmen in world football, with Manchester United, Atlético Madrid, and Barcelona all circling ahead of the summer window.
His numbers tell the story—since arriving in 2024, Osimhen has bagged a stunning 59 goals in 74 appearances, cementing his reputation as a world-class centre-forward.
But Galatasaray are standing firm. The Turkish champions recently brushed aside a €120 million offer from Atlético Madrid, and according to Forza Cimbom, they have now rejected another proposal worth around €125 million from an unnamed suitor. The club’s response, per the report, was blunt: “No way, buddy, go mind your own business.”
Their resolve is steeled by more than just ambition. With Mauro Icardi potentially heading for the exit, letting two experienced strikers leave in one summer would be a gamble too far for the Cimbom.
They want Osimhen to lead their charge for domestic dominance and a stronger European campaign next season.
For his part, the 27-year-old has repeatedly spoken of his affection for the club and its supporters, expressing a desire to stay beyond this summer.
Yet with months to go before the window shuts, the chase is far from over. United view Osimhen as a dream signing for their rebuild, while Atlético and Barça remain in the hunt.
For now, though, the Nigerian stays put—and looks set to enter his third season in Istanbul, chasing more silverware with the Turkish champions.
