Pate cited the government’s determination to ensure timely completion of these facilities, with equipment procurement and staff training underway.

He highlighted the necessity of maintenance agreements to ensure the proper functioning of these centres, stressing the importance of providing patients with dignified care.

With a budget allocation of N37.4 billion to the Federal Ministry of Health, the government aims to bolster access to oncology care across various regions.

These centres will be equipped with cutting-edge medical infrastructure to meet the growing demand for cancer treatment services nationwide.

Pate reiterated the ministry’s dedication to executing each project meticulously, prioritizing the fulfilment of President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s healthcare agenda.
