Ex-VP Atiku hosts Peter Obi in Adamawa

The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was guest of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at his residence in Adamawa State.
This was disclosed by Atiku in a video shared on X.com on Saturday.
The post reads: “It is breakfast time with my friend, #PeterObi, in the ‘land of beauty.”
The video showed the two leaders, alongside others, seated together at a dining table, ready to have their meal.
Earlier, in May, Abubakar had hosted Obi at his residence in Abuja sparking rumours of a possible alliance between both politicians ahead of the 2027 election.
Atiku was the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 and 2023 presidential elections, when he lost to All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates of Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu respectively.
Obi, still in PDP, was his running mate in 2019, but he later joined the LP in 2022 — about seven months before the 2023 elections.
In May, Abubakar said he will “keep contesting” for the Nigerian presidency as long as he is hale and hearty.
The politician, who is 78-years-old, will be 81 by the time the next presidential election comes around in 2027.
Abubakar has run for the number one office six times, but has been on the ballot as a presidential candidate on three occasions — 2007, 2019, and 2023.
