Ex-Scotland player, Craig Burley, mocks Eden Hazard over poor World Cup participation
A former Scotland player, Craig Burley, wondered whether Eden Hazard, the Real Madrid forwar, can even play full.time any longer.
He said the former Chelsea star is making no impact for Belgium at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Hazard has failed to score or provide assist in two World Cup matches for Belgium, looking well below his best.
Burley said the 31-year-old forward is not even capable of playing for an hour any more.
“The guy can barely play more than 45 to 60 minutes. And even when he does play, he is a passenger,” he told ESPN.
Hazard has managed just one shot on target so far in Qatar and led the Europeans to a 2-0 defeat in their second group game.
