Ex-Rotarian Gov Adelusi-Adeluyi seeks closer ties with Kessington Adebutu Foundation

A Past District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110 Nigeria, Rotarian Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi , a Former Hon Federal Minister of Health, has called for a very strong , closer tie with very sound healthy continued, gainful, positive, constructive ties and most effective cooperation with such worthy synergy with the Rotary International and Sir Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation (KAAF) as very effective, resourceful lubricate to happily galvanise as the most effective hope for the common man, for the most effective realisation of their much desired relief and palliative for the succour of the suffering masses, as the government alone could not absolutely afford to shoulder the heinous responsibilities to alleviate such at all times.

In addition for fully achieve the drive doggedly he therefore behoves on all concern, more importantly the wealthy, privilege few others, to genuinely partner with such viable NGOs like (KAAF) in their numerous effective Membership drive toward the realisation of such ideals and goals for such positive, gainful expectations for the Societies, the Nation’s and globally all round financial, moral, physical and spiritual goals of their empowerment and meaningful development for mankind at all times.
He made this cealleron call at the commissioning and presentation of the 2 blocks of Classroom to the Ikeja Junior High School, Ikeja GRA, situated opposite the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, sponsored by Sir chief Dr Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu CON, FISM, KJW, the Aseoju Oba of Lagos with the handsome donation of N10million for the benefit of the School, the Pupils, the Staff and other beneficiaries of such project in the Community and in the Lagos State at large.

It will be recalled that the Project which was first muted by the 2018/2019 Rotary Year tenure, was eventually completed by the current 2019/2020 Rotary Year tenure under the Presidency of Rotarian Olumuyiwa Fagbola’s administration coupled with the dogged drive, zeal and support of the members of the Board of Directors of the Club , in consonant with the Rotary International vision to provide adequate Basic Education Literary Month Facilities and Family Health Week led by the Club’s 52nd President, Rotary Club of Ikeja, Lagos, Rotarian Olumuyiwa Fagbola a seasoned Banking Guru and prominent Hospitality Consultant.

In their respective remarks and contributions at the event, the Permanent Secretary, Lagos Ministry of Education, Mrs Adelaja aligned effectively with the PDG Rotarian Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi judging from the immense, numerable heart-warming continued, meaningful, philanthropic gesture of the sponsor of the notable viable project, Sir Chief Dr Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu CON, FISM, KJW, which endeared him very worthy and appreciatively in the hearts of the entire universe, in respective of their religious, tribe or political divide across the society, the nation and the entire globe.
To this end therefore, She expressed heartily the Lagos State gratitude and immense appreciation, her’s personally and that of the School Community to which the project was sponsored, commission and presented to and called for the judicious use of such at all times. She also seized the event to call for more of such meaningful, gainful donation and support of such project services to positively improve the community and the lives of all to humbly assist the government in such regards among others.

The District Governor, 9110, Rotary International, Rotarian Dr Jide Akeredolu, while appreciating the donation and presentation of such viable project to the Ikeja Junior High School, the Community and the Lagos State Government reiterated the continued need to genuinely assist the Rotary International in its fervent positive gainfully drive to make very meaningful for all especially in the areas of Human Development and empowerment, illiteracy eradication, Polo eradication, other effective Health Delivery Services and other very worthy areas to make life happily, better and improve than they met such.

Concluding, Rotarian Dr Jide Akeredolu while extolling the sterling virtues of the Club leadership, calls for more aggressive drive to further improve the lives of all, especially in its 4-Way Test and other areas of dedication and support of their time, treasure, talent and thoughts to the advantage of all at all times.

Highlights of the event, were the presentation of the handsome donations from the sponsor represented by Rotarian Aare Kola Oyefeso, also a prominent Rotarian, heartily appreciated by the president, Past President, Associates and the well-wisher of the Club, as well as other Presidents and prominent Rotarians, District 9110 Nigeria Executives invited to grace the occasion with the members of the Board of Directors of Rotary of Ikeja, among others while the Pupils of the school entertained the distinguished Guests to traditional displays to make such event, the memorable ever.

Sunday Olatunji
Dele Fashomi, seasoned journalist and communication teacher, is a holder of Master of Arts degree in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan in 1992/93. Earlier, he had bagged a Bachelor degree from the same university in 1984, after which he proceeded to the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos, in 1990, for a postgraduate diploma in Journalism. He had done many courses in communication, including the EU-BBC Editing Course in 2002. Mr. Fashomi combines effectively the practice, research and teaching of communication. And to date, he has published two academic works in communication: Issues in Communication Technology and Policy (2010) and Economic and Social Issues in Advertising and PR (2013). He had his first break in the Nigerian media in Concord Newspapers in 1990 and today, he has over two and half decades experience earned in several newspapers. He has been part of many start-ups, such as The Republic (1987), The Comet (1999), The Anchor 2001 - 2002; Sun Newspapers (2003); Westerner newsmagazine (2005 - 2010) as Editor; National Life (2011) as Sunday Editor, and Newswatch Newspapers (2012- 2016) as Daily Editor. Dele Fashomi is now the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of newspaper online, which he started in July 2015. He is also into biography writing, with many books in his trail, some of which he wrote alone and one he co- authored with his mentor, Mr Dare Babarinsa, entitled:  Olabiyi Durojaiye - DARE TO BE DiFFERENT. He also guided and collaborated with Pa Olatunji Odusanya in writing his autobiography - AGAINST ALL ODDS. There are many other books in the works under his pen.
