EPL: Keane chides Ten Hag for still keeping Martial in Man Utd squad
Anthony Martial has no business in Manchester United, Manchester United man, Roy Keane, said, blaming manager, Erik ten Hag, for replacing Rashford with the Frenchman in the second half of their defeat to Tottenham.
Keane has long been a critic of Martial and had always wished the Frenchman was sold.
Martial was brought on in the 85th minute of the match, replacing Marcus Rashford and Manchester United lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur.
Keane, making fun of Ten Hag, said some Manchester United legends of the past should have been brought into the match.
“They’re bringing on Martial!’ Keane exclaimed on Sky Sports.
“Bringing on these players, you might as well bring on Frank Stapleton and Norman Whiteside.
“Martial’s not going to get you out of trouble!”
