President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr Mainasara Umar Kogo as the new Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

Dr. Kogo is a seasoned lawyer and analyst, with his extensive experience in the fields of law, security, economy, politics, and international diplomacy to his new role.

A statement by Presidential spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, quoted President Tinubu as expressing confidence in Dr. Kogo’s ability to bring professionalism, integrity, and dedication to the office.

The statement stated, “The President anticipates professionalism, integrity, and fidelity to the nation in the discharge of the functions of the Office of the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).”

Ngelale said the appointment reflects the Tinubu administration’s commitment to ensuring the effective and ethical operation of the CCT, which plays a critical role in maintaining public trust and accountability in government operations.
