Court of Appeal sacks Gov Yusuf of Kano, Gawuna wins

The Court of Appeal Court has sacked Governor Abba K. Yusuf from office and affirmed Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the elected governor of Kano State.
According to the judgement of the three-man panel of justices of the Court of Appeal, Governor Yusuf could not even contest on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, because he was not even a member of the party when he contested.
