BUA Cement boss pledges to crash cement price afrer meeting with Tinubu

BUA Cement Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has pledged to crash the price if uts product after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House, Abuja at the weekend.

Rabiu said the move is to support the efforts of the Federal Government to bring down the prices of key commodities and consequently drive down rising inflation in the country.

He said in order to realise this, two new plants, at the end of the year, will be commissioned by President Bola Tinubu, bringing BUA Cement’s total capacity to 17million metric tons.

According to him, “This will enable the company to bring down the price of cement to about 3500 naira per bag.”
