Herbert Wigwe, Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, is reportedly dead.
According to Arise News television, his wife and son were also in the helicopter that crashed and claimed his life in California, USA.
Also, the Chairman of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, was also in the ill-fated flight.
Wigwe, 57, was a Nigerian banker and entrepreneur.
He was the CEO of Access Holdings Plc, traded as Access Corporation until his death.
He was the Group Managing Director/CEO of Access Bank PLC, one of Nigeria’s top five banking institutions, after succeeding his business partner, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, in January 2014 till April 2022.
