Breaking: Terrorists attack Yobe Shiite school, three students killed, one injured

At least three students have been killed as suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked school Yobe State.
The attack occurred on Faudiya School in Gaidam Local Government Area of Yobe State on Friday morning.
Spokesman of the Yobe State Police Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, confirmed the killing of the three Shi’ite students in the attack.
The students who lost their lives were identified as 22-year-old Muhammadu Saleh, Ahmed Abdulrahm and Abdullahi Adamu, both 21 years old, while a 25-year-old Sani Haruna was injured in the attack and is currently receiving treatment at an hospital.
A source corroborated the police report, saying that the terrorists attacked the Shi’ite school belonging to the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), killing 3 of the students and inflicted injuries on another.
IMN spokesperson in Gaidam local government area, Mallam Mahadi Ibrahim, who confirmed the incident, said the attackers besieged the school, burning parts of it, killing thtee students and injuring one other.
Ibrahim said the suspected gunmen invaded the Fuadiyya Islamic school, shooting sporadically into the air to announce their arrival before killing the students.
He added that, “As I’m speaking to you now, all we know is that they killed three students. One person who tried to escape during the attack was injured and he has been hospitalised.”
Another source said the attackers stormed the Hausari Quarter area of Gaidam, killing three students of the Islamiyya school at about 3:40am midnight of Friday.
He said some of the students were in their sleep when they were brought outside forcefully before three of them were shot dead.
