Breaking: President Tinubu Meets Service Chiefs, IGP in Abuja Over National Security

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently holding a meeting with Service Chiefs, led by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and the Inspector General of Police, at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting is believed to focus on addressing Nigeria’s national security challenges.
In attendance are the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla; Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar; and the Inspector General of Police.
Also present are the National Security Adviser to the President, the Director-Generals of the State Security Service, and the National Intelligence Agency.
While the exact agenda of the meeting remains undisclosed, such gatherings are routine, as the President regularly receives updates from security chiefs to evaluate the nation’s security situation.
Additionally, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Deputy Speaker were seen arriving at the Presidential Villa, though it is unclear if they are part of the security briefing.
The Service Chiefs are expected to brief State House correspondents following the meeting with the President.
