Breaking: Atiku clinches PDP presidential candidate ticket

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged as the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the 2023 General Elections.
In a keenly contested primaries of 12 aspirants, Atiku polled 371 votes of the 776 delegates of the presidential primaries contest to emerge as the party’s candidate.
His closes aspirant is Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike, who polled 237 votes, with Saraki’s 70 votes coming next.
Earlier before the conduct of the primaries, Governor A mini Tambuwal had stepped down for Atiku Abubakar.
