APC Spokesman Felix Morka Alleges Over 200 Death Threats from Obi’s Supporters
Embattled APC spokesman Felix Morka has claimed he has received over 200 death threats from supporters of Peter Obi, following the latter’s alleged false claim that his life was threatened.
Speaking in an interview on ARISE TV on Wednesday, Mr. Morka disclosed that he has documented over 400 threats, including graphic descriptions of violence against him and his family.
“People graphically telling me how they intend to take me out—to shoot me, behead me in graphic language. This is not a joke,” Mr. Morka stated.
He accused Obi’s supporters, popularly known as “Obidients,” of issuing the threats.
Obi, who came third in the 2023 presidential election but has maintained he won, recently alleged persecution by the APC government.
Morka, however, dismissed these claims, calling Obi a “prophet of doom” and a “voodoo economist.”
The APC national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, expressed support for Morka and his statements, while the opposition Obidient Movement accused the APC of endorsing violence against Obi.
The political tension follows accusations from the APC that Obi is inciting Nigerians against the Tinubu administration.
