APC Chairman Yilwatda Visits El-Rufai to Offer Condolence Over Mother’s Death
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja.
Yilwatda’s visit was to commiserate with El-Rufai over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, who died on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Cairo, Egypt, following a period of illness.
Earlier, several prominent political figures had also visited El-Rufai at his Abuja residence to offer their condolences. Among them were Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi; former Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami; and Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
