Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria bestows Award of Merit on Community Leader, Prince Yomade
Prominent community leader and philathropist, Prince Ridwan Adebola Badejo, popularly called Yomade, was honored with an Award of Merit by Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria.
The award ceremony event drew many dignitaries and Islamic leadrrs, including Alhaji Surajudeen Odofin, Alhaji Lateef Folajaiye, Alhaji Abdul-Waheed Badejo, Barrister Olalekan Alabi, Alhaji Abolaji Shittu, Alhaji M. Odunuga and Alhaji Murisiku Lawal.
Also at the event, held at Bode Thomas, Surulere Local Government Area, Lagos State, were his children, Abdul Lateef Badejo, Mrs Basirat oyedokun, nee Badejo, community members, and religious leaders who identified with Yomade’s remarkable contributions to societal development and leadership.
Specifically, the award was in recognition of Yomade’s unwavering commitment to community service, fostering unity, and his impactful initiatives that have uplifted the lives of many within the local community.
Also highlighted were his efforts in promoting social welfare, youth empowerment, and education.
The Chairman of ADS Lagos Branch, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aremu Salami, praised Yomade for his selflessness and dedication, stating, “His work in ensuring that the community thrives is inspiring.
He said Yomade is a beacon of hope and a role model to many noting that the award is a small token of the group appreciation for the numerous positive changes he has driven.
Responding, Alhaji Ridwan Badejo, who is the Chairman and President of Yomade Graphics Nigeria Limited and Director of Data Alliance Company Limited, Dosemo Nigeria Limited and Fashina Bonbata Farms and Fishery Limited, expressed deep gratitude to the group for the recognition and stressed that the honor belongs to the entire community.
According to him, “I am humbled by this recognition. This award is not for me alone, but for every individual in our community who has contributed, no matter how small, to making our society better. Together, we will continue to strive for progress and unity.”
