Algeria defeat Nigeria 2-1 in friendly match

Desert Foxes of Algeria came from one goal down to defeat the Super Eagles of Nigeria 2-1 in an international friendly on Tuesday night.

In their second meeting, Terem Moffi gave Jose Peseiro’s men the lead in the first half.

However, both sides went in level at the break, after Riyad Mahrez converted a penalty before the half-time whistle.

Youcef Atal grabbed the winner for Algeria with a sublime strike from over 30 yards in the 61st minute.
