Akwa Ibom Executive Council dissolved
The Akwa Ibom State Executive Council has been dissolved, with Governor Umo Eno thanked the members of the cabinet for their services.
A statement by the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Eno Uwah, on Friday, stated that, “All Honourable Commissioners and Special Adviser are hereby advised to hand over to their Permanent Secretaries or the most Senior Director where re is no permanent secretary.”
Uwah said in the release that the governor expressed his sincere appreciation to the outgoing Executive Council members for their dedicated service to the state.
The statement said the governor wished them well in their future endeavour and thanked them for their contributions to the development of Akwa Ibom State.
However, the statement was silent on when the governor will reconstitute a new cabinet.
