Akeredolu: Three-day mourning declared in Oyo

A three-day mourning has been declared in Oyo State for the deceased Chairman of the Southwest Governors’ Forum and Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Governor Seyi Makinde, who gave this directive on Thursday, December 28, also ordered that all flags at public offices in the state be flown at half-mast for three days mourning.

Governor Makinde, who is Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, had Wednesday evening, alongside the Chairman of the NGF, Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman of Kwara State, visited the Ibadan home of the late Ondo State governor.
