New Federal University, Okeho, set to begin academic work

The new Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) is scheduled to begin academic work in November 2025, with preparations in progress, including opening its admission process, according to Facebook.

The university, located in Okeogun, Oyo State, is set to offer educational opportunities in agriculture, technology, and other related disciplines.

The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) in Okeho, Oyo State, was recently approved and expected to resume academic activities in November 2025.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assented to the bill for its establishment, stating that the university is located in the Oke-Ogun region of Oyo State.

The university was established by an act of parliament and approved by President Tinubu.
