Two Mogajis Dismissed From Ibadan Traditional Council

Two Mogajis in Ibadan traditional council were dismissed with immediate effect by the Olubadan and his advisory council.
The Olubadan Advisory Council removed two Mogajis (family heads) from their positions following complaints from their families and other serious issues.
A statement on Friday from the Ibadan Traditional Council confirmed that the dismissal of the two men took immdiate effect.
The statement both the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, and the Advisory Council approved the dismissal.
According to the statement, the affected mogajis are Chief Musilu Yekini Olaoye from the Peluseriki Compound in Isale Osi and Chief Rasaki Funso Ayinde Oguntobi from the Oloola Ogungbesan Compound in Bode, Ibadan.
“The Mogajis’ removal followed protests from their family members and other serious misconduct,” the statement stated, adding that both men must not act or present themselves as Mogajis anymore.
