Unidentified Woman Dies After Jumping into Lagoon from Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos

An unidentified woman has been confirmed dead after jumping into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State.
The incident occurred on Thursday around 4 p.m. near the University of Lagos waterfront, according to a statement released on Friday by Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command.
Hundeyin explained that the Marine Police stationed in the area responded swiftly to the incident.
The woman’s body was later recovered at the UNILAG shore slipway.
