First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on private visit to IBB, Abdulsalami in Minna Tuesday
Nigeria’s First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu was a guest of two former Nigerian military Heads of State, Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar, in Minna, the Niger State capital, on Tuesday.
The First Lady, who paid a private visits to the former military heads of state, reaffirmed the country’s commitment to achieving economic growth, development and stability.
Mrs Tinubu expressed gratitude to the two former leaders for their fatherly role during the 2023 presidential election, during the private visit, acknowledging their efforts in helping Nigerians understand the importance of removing subsidies.
The wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shettima, and other top government functionaries accompanied the First Lady during the visit.
General Abubakar appreciated the visit and pledged his continued support for the country’s development.
