Only condition for Dele Farotimi to regain his freedom – Afe Babalola’s lawyers

The legal team of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Afe Babalola, has insisted that detained human rights lawyer, Dele Farotimi, can only be free when he proves the defamatory allegations against Chief Afe Babalola, SAN.

The lawyers, Owoseni Ajayi, Olakanmi Falade and Lawrence Fasanmi, spoke at a press briefing in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital city on Friday.

They explained that Chief Babalola wrote a petition to the Police to investigate the defamatory allegations made by Farotimi in his book titled, ‘Nigeria and its Criminal Justice System’.
