Commending Aiyedatiwa for a deserved victory was his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, which also hailed the INEC, security agencies, and others who played critical roles in the successful conduct of the election.

The APC said the victory was a testament that Aiyedatiwa’s policies were in alignment with the people’s wishes.

A statement by APC spokesman, Felix Morka, on Sunday, said: “The All Progressives Congress (APC) heartily congratulates the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his re-election.

“With this renewed mandate, we are confident that you will build upon your accomplishments, and take the state to even greater heights of social and economic development for the benefit of the good people of Ondo state.”

The ruling party also thanked all the stakeholders that ensured a peaceful poll.
“We commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security agencies for their professionalism and patriotism in the discharge of their constitutional roles during the election.

“We thank the Ondo electorate for their sustained and highly valued support of our great Party,” the statement said.
