Drama won’t end between Sophia Momodu, real estate firm over ownership of luxury home
The controversy over fashion entrepreneur, Sophia Momodu, mother to Afrobeats star Davido’s daughter, Imade Adeleke, owner of a luxurious home in Lagos will not go away as her words remain against the real estate businessmen.
Sophia Momodu had taken to the social media with a Snapchat, giving her followers an inside look at what many believed to be her newly acquired home. The video highlighted a lavish interior, featuring a grand staircase and multiple empty rooms, which left viewers in awe. This post went viral, sparking widespread discussions on social media about her supposed new purchase.
However, just hours after the video surfaced, the real estate company linked to the property issued a statement denying the claim of Sophia Momodu over ownership of the home.
The company responded with a firm rebuttal, stating, “It’s the effrontery and the guts to lie with so much confidence.
The company provided no additional context regarding Momodu’s connection to the property, leaving questions about whether she had been involved in any negotiations or if the home tour was part of a promotional arrangement.
The denial attracted controversies online, with some fans expressing confusion over the situation. Others abused Sopia for lying.
However, Sophia Momodu is believed to be insisting that the company’s statement was wrong.
