Kelechi Iheanacho set to make first appearance at Sevilla

Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho is making his first official appearance in a game for Sevilla after the Spanish club registered the former Leicester City player to file out for the La Liga side.
Iheanacho was forced to miss Sevilla’s season opener against rivals Las Palmas last week owing to the league’s strict financial regulations. It was discovered that the club had neglected to register him for La Liga.
But after Argentina defender Marcos Acuna left the team for River Plate, Spanish journalist Gonzalo Tortosa claims that Sevilla has managed to go around La Liga’s regulations.
Iheanacho has declared that he hopes to achieve great things ahead of next season after signing the dotted lines for the seven-time Europa League Champions.
The 27-year-old player who commented in his first interview after joining the club said that he has no personal goals but the most important thing is the team itself.
Kelechi, who joined Sevilla as a free agent added that he and his teammates have to give a hundred percent in every game to be at the top of the Spanish La Liga.
“I don’t have personal goals. I may have a goal for myself, but the most important thing is the team itself, my teammates,” he told the club’s official website.
