Talented England international and Arsenal Football Club striker, Eddie Nketiah, has agreed on personal terms with EPL side Nottingham Forest.

This is coming after Nketiah’s move to Ligue 1 side, Marseille, collapsed.

A post shared on the X page of transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, stated that talks between Nottingham Forest and Arsenal are advancing to the final stages.

Romano also disclosed that Forest is confident of getting the deal finalised soon after Dutch club Feyenoord rejected its €26m plus add-ons for striker Santiago Giménez.

‘‘Eddie Nketiah has just agreed on personal terms with Nottingham Forest as talks are advancing to the final stages with Arsenal.

‘‘#NFFC confident to get it done soon.

‘‘Feyenoord rejected €26m plus add-ons for Santiago Giménez also offered today.’’ Romano wrote on his X page.

Only recently, Olympique Marseille’s deal to sign Nketiah from Arsenal Football Club collapsed as the French club moved to sign another Eyle Wahi instead.

Marseille had submitted a new offer to lure Nketiah away from the English Premier League (EPL) after not making a headway with two initial bids.

The French club reportedly tabled the sum of £16.8million (€20m) to sign the 25-year-old player after their initial bid to sign the striker was rejected by Arsenal.

Marseille later informed Arsenal that Nketiah’s deal can be considered 100% collapsed and was not willing to a €30 million package for the striker after having two bids rejected, despite the green light from the player to move over to France.
