Chelsea Football Club new coach, Enzo Maresca, unfolded his long-term vision and plans for the top-flight English Premier League (EPL) club.

Maresca said his vision is that the club is looking for something for 5 or 10 years, in a chat with journalists ahead of the new football season.

He said the club didn’t ask for the Champions League spot, but rather to ensure the club competes step by step.

According to him, “The vision I have is that the club is looking for something for 5 or 10 years.

“Nobody from the club asked me for the Champions League spot this year.

“What they said is that we need to arrive and compete, step by step”.

Maresca also said Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell should leave the club to seek playing time elsewhere.

“It’s probably better he goes and leaves and finds minutes.

“I love the way he is, the problem is that he is struggling to find the right position with us…”, he said.
