Former Oyo State Governor, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, has been crowned as an Oba in the line to the Olubadan throne.

The event happened on Monday at the new Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan, where Ladoja was officially crowned.

High Chief Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan and the next in line to the Olubadan stool, had publicly retraced his steps to accept the crown during a live radio programme in Ibadan.

Since the announcement, his Bodija private residence has turned into a hub of activity, with numerous visitors coming to congratulate and encourage him.

Notable visitors include Governor Seyi Makinde; the Asiwaju of Ibadanland, Chief Bode Amao, and other prominent figures such as Chief Bayo Oyero, Chief Wole Akinwande, Yemisi Adeaga, and Niyi Ajewole.
