Anthony Joshua to Tyson Fury: Fight me now while we are both still ‘fresh’
British-Nigerian professional boxer, Anthony Joshua, asked Tyson Fury to fight him now that they are both still fresh and agile enough to face off with each other in the ring.
Joshua spoke with BBC Sport on Thursday, saying he will not sit and wait for his fight with Fury which has been on the cards for a long time.
He said, “Let’s just get the fight on while we’re fresh – how many wars do I have to have before I get to Fury? Let’s go.”
Indeed, talks have deadlocked over the super-fight, suggested for several years between Joshua and Fury.
The fight is deamed to be the greatest and most profitable matchup in the division.
For Joshua, “It’s a fight that’s been brewing for a long time. I can’t wait until I’m 50 to fight Fury because I’d have had so many wars, I can’t sit around and wait, I’ve got to continue to fight.”
