Bayern Munich outbids Chelsea to secure the signing of Michael Olise

German Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich, has signed Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, outsmarting the English Premier League (EPL) club, Chelsea.

Bayern contacted Crystal Palace to proceed to sign Olise, and the club was said to have sought the player’s decision to join Bayern, while he had agreed on personal terms.

A post shared on the X handle of transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, stated that the final package expected for Olise’s transfer is around £50m as the total fee for Palace.

Romano wrote: ‘‘Bayern made contact with Crystal Palace tonight to proceed with next steps of Michael Olise deal.

‘‘Palace have also been informed of Olise’s decision to join Bayern with personal terms agreed.

‘‘Understand final package expected is around £50m as total fee for Palace.’’
