Steve Cooper confirmed as Leicester City new coach, replaces Enzo Maresca

Steve Cooper has been confirmed as the new coach of the English Premier League side, Leicester City. Cooper, former Nottingham Forest manager, replaces Enzo Maresca.

The move ends Leicester City hunt for a new manager after Maresca’s departure to coach of Chelsea, with Graham Potter also considered for the role.

Leicester City was unable to reach a deal with Potter ahead of their Premier League return, thus turning attention to the former Nottingham Forest manager.

The move is part Leicester City’s preparation for the next season with their promotion to English Premier League.

The new coach, Cooper, said he is excited because Leicester City is a fantastic club with a rich history and passionate supporters.
