Breaking: FG reaches agreement with Labour
After five hours of meeting, Labour and the Defeat Government have sealed agreement on the minimum wage.
The meeting had the Secretary to the Federal Government, George Akume, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkiru Onyejeruika, the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, and others on the side of government, and the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC,
The agreement is to arrive at a minimum wage within one week and to meet every day.
The agreement emphasized that President Bola Tinubu is committed to a minimum above N60,000.
