Aiyedatiwa nominates Ajulo, five others as Ondo commissioners

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Kayode Ajulo, has made the list of commissioner-nominees of Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Friday.

The names and five others were forwarded to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.

Kayode Ajulo was vocal during the crisis that nearly saw the impeachment of Aiyedatiwa as Deputy Governor before the death of his late principal, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in December.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Friday in Akure, disclosed this.

Those returning to the cabinet from the dissolved cabinet are Engr. Rasaq Obe, Emmanuel Igbasan, Barr. Akinwumi Sowore and Olamide Falana.

The governor also appointed three Special Advisers to the cabinet, including Olugbenga Omole, Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Olamide Falana, Special Adviser on Gender Affairs and Alabi Johnson, Special Adviser on Energy.

Aiyedatiwa had said during the swearing-in of deputy governor, Dr Olayide Adelami on Thursday, that; “Some of you are coming back soon. Some people have served. Some are waiting and some are still serving and some of you are coming back.”
