English Premier League clubs, like Chelsea and Arsenal, who are linked with the Napoli attacker, Victor Osimhen, now have to cough out a whooping 130 million euros to get him.

Indeed, his agent, Roberto Calenda, may have broken the hearts of clubs looking to sign Osimhen with his latest transfer news.

Osimhen, 24, recently signed a contract extension with Gli Azzurri, and the deal will run till 2026. His new contract also has a €130m release clause for any clubs interested in prizing away Napoli’s most valuable player.

The Nigerian, who recently won the African Player of the Year, scored 26 goals.

With this heavy release clause, Osimhen’s agent said his client is perfectly happy in Naples, and is not thinking of leaving anytime soon.

“Victor is doing very well in Naples and wants to take the team as high as possible. He has always said it and backed it up on the pitch. We just closed a historic deal in the history of Italian football. Let’s enjoy it,” Calenda said to Corriere dello Sport in quotes revealed by Football Italia.

The agent added that Osimhen, the Super Eagles attacker, would remain in Naples, despite the huge offers from other top clubs.

“I represent Victor and I want what’s best for him. We’ve both wanted a renewal since the summer. Last summer, plenty of offers arrived, some monstrous ones, but De Laurentiis wanted to keep Victor and we made ourselves available. If we wanted to leave, we would have said so. Instead, we worked, a lot, to get the renewal done. Next summer it will be the same,” Calenda added.

Osimhen was plagued with injuries which kept him on the sidelines this season, but he managed to score seven goals and create another two in eleven Serie A starts for Napoli this term.
