Two Injured in Alapere Lagos truck accident

Following a pedestrian bridge collapse after a violent collision with a truck, two people were reported injured in Alapere Estate, Ketu area of Lagos State.

The accident, which occurred on Thursday, was confirmed to have involve two injured people.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority [LASTMA], which blamed the truck driver, said he should have known that the truck was higher than the bridge, which led to collision and being hooked and unable to move further leading to the bridge collapse.

Consequent upon the accident, traffic was blocked around the Alapere Estate Ketu, with debris of goods carried by the truck.
