Man United face early exit from UEFA Champions League

Man United are on the brink of early exit from the UEFA Champions League following a 3-3 draw at Galatasaray on Wednesday.
Manchester United had given awat a 3-1 lead of Galastastray to a 3-3 draw at ful -time, in a game where Bruno Fernandes stunner gave Man United a 2-0 after Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring.
Hakim Ziyech squeezed a free-kick past Andre Onana before Scott McTominay restored the Red Devils’ two-goal lead.
A mistake by Onana allowed Galatasaray back in the game once again and with 20 minutes left on the clock, Muhammed Kerem Akturkogl scored the equalizing goal.
Following the draw, Man United found themselves bottom of Group A banking on permutations to avoid early exit from this year’s Championships League.
Of course, Man United now need to beat Bayern in their final group match and also ‘pray and hope’ Copenhagen vs Galatasaray ends in a draw.
Erik ten Hag’s side host Bayern Munich in the final group game knowing that anything less than victory will see them eliminated from the competition. Even if Man United somehow beat the Bavarians, they need to hope that Copenhagen vs Galatasaray match ends in a draw.
