I told them I wouldn’t make it – Davido replies Amaju Pinnick on Warri show

Popular Afrobeats musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has srated his own side of the story of the Warri show, explaining why he couldn’t make it to the Warri show.

The former Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick; had dragged our Davido for collecting over $90,000 and failing to honour the Warri show.

Pinnick had alleged that Davido had been paid an additional fee for his flight to the venue, however he still failed to show up.

Davido, who had earlier berated Pinnick by recalling his reprobate past, has delivered an explanation to fans who had paid exorbitant fee and expecting to see him.

According to Davido, he had informed the show organizers months ahead that he couldn’t make it physically.

Although, for some reasons they kept promoting the show with his name.

Davido promised to bring his A game to his fans in the state soon, assuring them that it’d be bigger and better.

He wrote:

“To my lovely fans in Warri that spent their hard earned money to come out. Apologies you had to experience this. I was not going to be physically able to make it and this had been communicated to ‘them’ for a longgggg while now I mean MONTHS ago but for reasons best known to them, they continued to promote the show using my name. It’s a shame. But specially for my fans out there, don’t worry, you know I gotta bring Timeless to Delta State. We will do it proper, bigger and better !”
