EPL: Man City will finish second after Arsenal, Neville says
Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, said Man City will finish second after Arsenal at this season’s English Premier League.
Neville, who stated this while speaking on The Overlap, said Arsenal have shown real intent in signings they have sealed so far.
According to him, Mikel Arteta has shown “real intent” in the transfer market and feels they will get better.
“I don’t think Arsenal could have done any more to close the gap. They’ve shown real intent with the signings they’ve made.
“My concern is they are the only team that I think could actually win the league. With the three signings they’ve made they’re going to be better.
“I am going to go Arsenal to win the league, City second. If I was putting my life on it I’d put City, but I’m just going to go Arsenal,” Neville said.
The Gunners finished in second place behind City despite being top of the table for over 240 days.
