Bauchi: Two kidnappers killed as police rescue 10 victims

Two suspected kidnappers have been killed by the Bauchi State Police Command, while rescuing 10 other victims during an operation carried out in Ningi Local Government Area of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Auwal Musa Muhammad, stated this at a press briefing held at the police headquarters along Yandoka Road on Tuesday.
There have been incessant kidnappings in Ningi LGA, targeted at peasant farmers who are now afraid of going to their farms.
The Commissioner of Police said the rescue operations were carried out in collaboration with hunters
“In one of the successful operations carried out between July 17 and 20, the operatives rescued 10 victims of kidnapping unhurt and reunited them with their families.
“Similarly, the operatives attacked the hoodlums and neutralised two of the armed kidnappers and arrested one other, while the remaining terrorists were subdued during a gun duel with our team,” he stated.
