UTME: Mmesoma Ejikeme reads apology letter before Reps committee
The controversial Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, candidate Mmesoma Ejikeme, has publicly apologised over forged University Tertiaty Matriculation Examination, UTME, result after she had admitted forging the result.
Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, from Anambra State, openly apologised to the Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, and Nigerians.
In her apology, Ejikeme requested that the board temper justice with mercy and reverse the three years ban imposed on her by JAMB.
She read the letter of apology before the House of Representatives ad hoc committee investigating the alleged manipulation of UTME results by Miss Ejikeme Mmesom, on Wednesday in Abuja.
Only two weeks ago, the House moved a motion for proper investigation of the alleged manipulation of UTME results by Mmesoma.
At the investigative hearing were the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, and its management.
Also, the Anambra State Government has set up a panel on the matter and the report confirmed that the girl, indee, forged the result as claimed by JAMB.
