Real Zaragoza attacker, Mateo Mejia, has signed a new contract with Man United.

In a statement via the club’s website, Man United disclosed this on Wednesday.

Mejia joined Man United from Real Zaragoza back in 2019.

He gained plenty of experience in Premier League 2 last season as he scored twice, including a strike against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

“Congratulations to Mateo, and we look forward to watching him in 2023/24,” Man United’s statement read in part.

Meanwhile, Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has turned down the chance to join Saudi Arabian side Khaleej FC, Sky Sports reports.

Vardy believes the Saudi move would not suit his family.

The Englishman has 12 months remaining on his current contract with Leicester but could yet remain at the King Power Stadium to help fire the Foxes back into the Premier League after they suffered relegation last season.

He is yet to discuss his future with new Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca.
