Transfer: I’ll leave Real Madrid if Chelsea’s James, Napoli’s Osimhen are not signed – Ancelotti

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has linked the condition he would stay in the club to signing Chelsea’s Reece James and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen this summer.

Ancelotti insisted he would leave Santiago Bernabeu if the club’s president, Florentino Perez, refuses to according to do just that, El Nacional reports.

Both James and Osimhen are expected to cost a total of €200 million.

Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid is became uncertain amid rumours linking him to the Brazil head coach job.

The Italian has reportedly agreed to become the Brazil national team’s head coach upon the expiry of his Real Madrid contract in 2024.

Real Madrid have already signed the likes of Joselu Mato, Brahim Diaz, Fran Garcia, and Jude Bellingham, but Ancelotti is not satisfied as he has asked for two more additions – James and Osimhen, to his squad to make it more competitive for next season.

The report added that Ancelotti does not fully trust Dani Carvajal and believes James is the world-class player they need at Real Madrid.

The 64-year-old also wants Osimhen at Real Madrid as he is adamant that Los Blancos need to sign a new striker that can guarantee at least 30 goals a season following Karim Benzema’s departure to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.
